Kansas City, KS Neuropathy Treatment
Over the past 17 years I've had the privilege of helping hundreds of patients all across the Shawnee, KS with their peripheral neuropathy.

Peripheral neuropathy is rarely corrected with drugs and medications

At best they may temporarily relieve some symptoms because none of the drugs on the market address the true underlying causes of neuropathy. The reason is loss of blood circulation, which reduces the nutrient and oxygen flow to that nerve and results in damage

This is what separates us from other clinics out there. Most will simply throw a medication at the symptoms. We come at things from a NATURAL approach!

Our Success Stories

Most drug treatments for peripheral neuropathy are NOT EVEN intended to treat Peripheral Neuropathy
  • Neuron (Gabapen) - is actually an anti-convulsive designed to treat seizures
  • Elavil and Tofranil (Imipramine) are antidepressants.
  • Lyric is designed to treat Fibromyalgia, shingles, depression and spinal core injury nerve pain.
What Is Peripheral Neuropathy?
Peripheral neuropathy is a disease that can damage nerves in the feet and prevent them from working properly. It is commonly caused by diabetes or injury.

Some causes include arthritis, vitamin deficiencies (which is why we test), blood vessel disease, and certain infections. Damaged nerves may cause changes in sensation, including numbness. This can make you more likely to injure your feet without knowing it.

Over time, neuropathy can lead to permanent loss of nerve function, as well as bone and joint damage.

How We Are Different?
As mentioned above, we're going to dig to find the root cause. Each patient is unique and we need to explore to find the root cause.

We may look at food sensitivities / intolerances to reduce inflammation.

We may check for vitamin / nutrient deficiencies.
We may look at thyroid function (TSH, T3, T4, TPO etc.).

We may need advanced imaging such as X-ray / MRI.

Again, once we determine the ROOT CAUSE of the peripheral neuropathy...THEN we can determine the best NATURAL plan of attack moving forward.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What Happens On The First Visit?
Very simple. You'll meet with one of the doctors to discuss your concerns. A thorough health history will be performed follow by a 16 point nerve evaluation. From there if we think we can help, we'll tell you. If we think a referral to a specialist will be better suited for your needs, we'll provide that. If we feel like we can help during your 1st visit  our clinical case manager will provide care plan instructions / recommended action plan moving forward.
Is Peripheral Neuropathy Treatment Safe?
Our treatment is non-invasive and uses no drugs. This approach is designed to address the true underlying causes of neuropathy and has been highly studied and FDA approved.
Do You Take Insurance?
We will definitely check your insurance benefits to determine if they'll be able to help with your care plan. From there we'll provide with you the most cost effective way of getting the treatment you need.
Why can't I just get better medication instead?
Unfortunately, peripheral neuropathy is rarely corrected with drugs and medications, at best they may temporarily relieve some symptoms. The flip side, though, leaves many with a host of unwanted and potentially dangerous side effects, such as suppress immune system function, liver, kidney, and stomach disorders, kidney failure, increased risk of kidney dialysis and suicidal tendencies just to name a few.
How long does Neuropathy Treatment take?
The length of treatment depends on the level of nerve damage you have which we find out in the exam. Once we’ve determined you’re a good fit for our care, the Doctor will outline a plan that best suits you.
